monastic centre for training of Buddhist monks.
Enthusiastic Support in Nepal
People from various regions of Nepal has
made generous offers of land to Rinpoche for
building monasteries and schools.  Despite of
their enthusiastic requests to Rinpoche, his
first priority is however to complete the Karma
    Samten Ling Meditation Centre, Lumbini
(sacred name given by H.H. Karmapa -
    Supreme Noble Self-Arising Lamp Monastery)
and the nunnery before he will consider other
    projects.

Knowing the benefit and importance of
education. Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche has put
    huge efforts in providing comprehensive
education for Lamas of his monasteries.  They
receive both secular and religious education,
which includes a range of fundamental
subjects, Buddhist philosophy and training in
    ritual practices.

In November 2003, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche
established the Karma Samten Ling (H.K.)
Buddhist Centre in Hong Kong.  This
provides an assemble place for disciples in
Hong Kong and the neighbouring districts
to receive teachings and participate in pujas.
Chairman of Monasteries Management Committee of Nepal 1998 - 2000
In 1998, in recognition and as an homage for his great humanitarian activity of
propagating Buddhism in the Himalayas region of Nepal, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche was
appointed by the Nepali Government as Chairman of the Ministry of Local Development,
Monastery Management and Development Committee and he served in this function for
approximately 4 years. Apparently, there were approximately 4,000 monasteries and
centres in Nepal.  Rinpoche was the youngest Chairman in this position so far.

During the period, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche has shown remarkable ability in overseeing the
development of local monasteries; on the anniversary celebration of the Nepali
Democratic National Day, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche was presented with an award in honour
of Rinpoche's contribution and achievements in Buddhism and education.
Overseas Dharma Activities
Over the last few years, in spite of shouldering the responsibilities of
reconstructing Karma Samten Ling (Manang) Monastery and
construction project of the Karma Samten Ling Meditation Centre in
Lumbini, Rinpoche has persistently made a number of visits to overseas
    countries to spread Buddhadharma.

Rinpoche travels abroad frequently, mainly to South East Asia, to meet
disciples and share his knowledge in Buddhism.  During his visits,
Rinpoche is very often invited to conduct pujas, officiate empowerments
and various religious activities.  Amongst which, there was the nine-day
Mahakala Puja and Mahakala Dance in Melaka Centre of Malaysia when
Rinpoche and 16 Lamas were invited, it was the first largest puja of its
kind in that region.  When the puja was completed, like many other pujas
and activities that had been held by Rinpoche in different countries,
auspicious signs emerged and were seen by many Dharma friends.
Over the years numerous has attended Rinpoche's Dharma activities
    and many has taken refuge.
