Young Nuns
    At present, there are approximately 45 nuns and young nuns at Karma
    Samten Ling Nunnery which is located in Pharping near Kathmandu
    city.

    Some of the students at the nunnery are homeless orphans, some are
    from India, and some are from remote villages in Himalayas region
    where very few have the opportunity to receive education.  Apart from
    providing the students with accommodations, necessities, medical and
    welfare benefits, karma Samten Ling Nunnery also offers them 15
    years of education.
