Reconstruction of Karma Samten Ling Monastery, Manang
Ven. the 2nd Gaylpo Rinpoche at the age of 16, together with Lama Gyaltsen, started the lengthy process of reconstructing dilapidated
    Karma Samten Ling Monastery.

With Rinpoche's blessings and endurance; the tireless and continual support of benefactors; and the monks and nuns overcoming
difficulties of providing daily needs for the Monastery, the construction of Karma Samten Ling Monastery in Manang was completed.

    Education
The reconstructed Monastery has been expanded to accommodate 80 monks, classrooms, bedrooms
and facilitated to offer complete secular and religious education, including monastic, liturgical,
    philosophical and meditation training.

After completing the 15 years of education, every student may choose to undertake the traditional three
year retreat, to join the higher institute of Buddhist philosophy or to remain in the Monastery to perform
rituals and maintain daily practice.  Either way, the ultimate goal is to benefit sentient beings.
