The Drupchen Puja of the Great Compassionate One was held on 10-18 June 2008 at Karma Samten Ling Monastery
Kathmandu. We were most fortunate and honoured to have H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche officiating the grand
puja. The sacred occasion was attended by over 200 Lamas and hundreds of dharma friends.
This grand puja was organised by the Karma Samten Ling (H.K.) Buddhist Centre, the fund raised would serve
to support the Karma Samten Ling Monastery in Kathmandu.
It is extremely auspicious to hold the Grand Puja in this precious month of Sagadhawa. According to the Vajrayana
calendar, this month is the day of the three great occasions of Buddha: birth, enlightenment and nirvana. Merit
generates during this period multiplies a million times, therefore it was very fortunate of us to be able to take part in
this virtuous Dharma activity.
