Dharma Activities Pilgrimage Tour to Nepal (August 2006)

Arranged by Karma Samten Ling (HK) Buddhist Centre, Khenpo Kunga and a group of devoted pilgrims, set off on 20th August 2006, to India to pay homage to H.H. Gyalwang Karmapa and to participate in the Empowerment of Rinchen Terzod at Palpung
Sherabling Monastery.
The Empowerment was officiated by H.E. Tai Situ Rinpoche, attended by over forty Venerable Rinpoches (including H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche), 2000 Sanghas, a vast number of local residents and devotees from all over the world. These special Empowerments of Rinchen Terzod started on 4th August 2006 and would take 3 months to complete.
During this extremely auspicious occasion, not only were the pilgrims able to attend the Empowerments with the so many venerable ones, they have also offered, on behalf of the Buddhist Centre, 2 days' meal for 2000 monks and a few hundred participants. Red packets Sponsored by Dharma friends of the Buddhist Centre and the pilgrims were also offered and distributed to sanghas.
