Dharma Activities Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche Visiting Malaysia (May 2006)

In early May 2006, Ven Gyalpo Rinpoche travelled to Asia to meet Dharma friends and to propagate Buddhadharma. After visiting Malaysia, Rinpoche also spent a few days in Singapore before visiting Hong Kong in June. Accompanying Rinpoche was Lama Gyaltsen, Khenpo Kunga, Lama Dhundup, Karma Gelek Gurung and Karma Lungrig.
During the trip, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche and his tour visited the Karma Kagyu Centre in Melaka as well as those in other cities of Malaysia. Thanks to the hospitality, arrangement and support given by the local Centres and Dharma friends, the visit was very accomplishing.

Buddha's Day Puja During the Malaysia Visit, Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche and Lamas celebrated the Buddha's Day with Dharma friends. Many attended the puja and participated in the baby Buddha bathing ceremony.
The baby Buddha statue was seated at the centre of the sacred bathing basin adorned with beautiful flowers for offering to the Buddha. Following Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche and Lamas, Dharma friends carefully and devotedly poured the sacred nectar over the shoulder of the baby Buddha which symbolizes purification of the mind.
Gemenceh Lamp Offering Ven. Gyalpo Rinpoche officiated the Gemenceh Lamp Offering Puja, during which, 10,000 oil lamps were offered by Dharma friends.
